The Society brings together the many key stakeholders involved and interested in furthering the development and implementation of telehealth practices; acts as a major resource for information and knowledge sharing; contributes to telehealth policy and standards development, and is the Canadian voice for telehealth both at home and internationally.

Laurentian University Telenursing Study

Researchers with the Laurentian University School of Nursing invite CST members to participate in a study that examines what telenurses recommend for inclusion in educational programs relating to telenursing. In particular, the study will focus on what is most important, in terms of the specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for competent and safe telenursing practice.
The information will be used by those who have an interest in developing and delivering educational programs for nurses, with the hope that these programs will ultimately serve to support the unique educational needs of nurses working in telenursing.

The ISfTeH Student's Working Group is proud to announce the 2009 edition of the "Student's Videoconference Session", planned to happen on April 1-3, 2009, at Med-e-Tel, in Luxembourg.

CST 2009 Conference

Telehealth 2009 - the 12th Annual Conference of the CST, will be held October 3-6, 2009, in Vancouver, BC. SIG sessions to be held Saturday October 3.
